Submission requirements "CALL FOR TALENT 2009!"

As in 2008, Foam Magazine's Fall issue will present the work of young talented photographers worldwide. If you would like to submit your work for publication  please read the following regulations.

 

- You are a photographer between 18 and 35 years old.

- The submission period is between the 21st of March and the 17th of May 2009.

- Please note that when you submit to the "Call for Talent", we have the right to use your work for promotional purposes for a maximum period of 18 months. We will consult you before using the material.

 

Requested information and series of work

-  Upload two projects/series of work with at least eight digital low-resolution images per project.

- There is a maximum of 20 low-resolution files in total.

- All images preferably in JPG format.

- Please note: a selection of random photos will not be considered.

- Include a brief description (maximum one A4) of the projects/series in a Word document.

- Include an abridged CV in a Word document

- When you have completed the submission, you will immediately see if it is done succesfully.

- After you have completed the contact form we will send you a login and password to upload your submission at our FTP server.

- Login with this password and  please make sure that all requested information and images are compressed into ONE ZIPFILE which is named in this order: first name surname. IMPORTANT If it is not submitted in this format we will not take the application in consideration.

-Please note that it takes a few minutes to upload your work depending on the actual size of the work you submit.

 

Selection procedure

- The selection procedure will take until mid-june. If you are selected we will notify you as soon as possible. Please do not contact us to see whether you have been selected before this date.

- If you will be selected one of our editors will contact you to discuss further details about the publication.

- If you have any questions concerning the talentcall which haven’t been answered here please mail to : contact@foammagazine.nl

- Please take into consideration that we will receive many submissions and that we may not be able to respond directly to all of your queries.

- Again: Only complete submissions will be taken into consideration.

-The Talent issue will be out on the 21st of September 2009
