Lauren Greenfield ~ Thin

Since 1997 Lauren Greenfield has been documenting the lives of patients at the Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, Florida, a residential facility for the treatment of young women with eating disorders. This resulted in the project Thin, a combination of a photographic book, travelling exhibition and feature length documentary film, for which Greenfield penetrated the dark heart of this most insidious of mental illnesses.
